Michael Havener, PLS
Mr. Havener joined Aguirre & Associates in 1999. Mr. Havener has over 39 years of experience in the land surveying and civil engineering profession, with extensive field and office background. He has performed as a survey project manager, party chief, civil designer and CAD operator. Mr. Havener has worked on a broad range of projects, including rail and light rail, public works, residential, commercial and schools projects. Mike retired in June, 2025, but remains on staff as a part time employee.

Mr. Aguirre has over 50 years experience in managing, directing, and performing civil engineering and land surveying tasks. Experience includes 10 years in the municipal sector prior to founding Aguirre & Associates in 1986. Both municipal and private experience includes a broad range of projects, including rail and light rail, public works, residential, commercial, churches, schools and other institutional projects. Skilled with AutoCAD Land Development Desktop and various engineering and administrative computer software.
Mr. Riipinen joined Aguirre & Associates in 2000. Mr. Riipinen has over 38 years experience in both municipal and private sectors in all aspects of land surveying. Experience includes a broad range of projects including rail and light rail, public works, G.I.S. , residential, commercial, churches, schools and other institutional projects. Skilled with AutoCAD Land Development Desktop, TDS and other survey computer software.
Mr. Syverson joined Aguirre & Associates in 2012. Marc Syverson has over 36 years of experience in all aspects of land surveying and mapping. His experience includes a broad range of projects in both the public and private sectors. He serves the firm primarily as a Party Chief, and is skilled with our Trimble GPS units, our total stations, levels and data collectors.
Mr. Anderson joined Aguirre & Associates in 2001. Mr. Anderson has over 24 years of experience in the field of surveying. His surveying experience includes all aspects of the performance of field surveys and right-of-way mapping for rail, light rail, water, wastewater, street, bike path, major road, highway, bridge and environmental projects.
Mr. Nunez joined Aguirre & Associates in 2012. Mr. Nunez has over 15 years of experience in all field aspects of land surveying and mapping. His experience includes a broad range of projects in both the public and private sectors. He serves the firm primarily as a Chainman, but can perform as an instrumentman. He is skilled with our Trimble GPS units, our total stations, levels and data collectors.
